Yup. Quite that. I remember pov asking me at install wether to render to
a default, or the directory where it finds the input files, but cannot
find the switch in any of the .inis
.povs, .bats(kidding) or whereever. Even no mentioning in the .hlp. Who
knows?

Simply a case of commenting out the Output_File_Name=C:\Images (example
dir) or removing the path after the equals sign. This is located in the
"your POV-Ray path\renderer\Povray.ini" file.
Or use +o on the command-line or in an INI without any parameter
following it to output the image to where the pov scene folder is.
That should do (maybe...).

Thanks, Bob. Yes, that's indeed the switch. My problem was, I had scanned all
my folders for occurences of this line, and they were all blank behind the =.
As I didn't think hard enough, I missed the conclusion,
that pov follows in all this cases indeed the input dir, which is given by
Moray.
I wanted to be able to render pov to the dir where it finds the .pov, well,
actually,
where Moray finds the .mdl. This is not possible automatically right now, but
would
be nice as an option, as I can set the dir, where pov renders to in moray
under render options,
but I would have to set this up any time new. Well, practically not any time,
as a project usually
has it's steady directory, but jumping to another project, does make me need
to do it.
