Hi,
I can't get atmospheric media to work in Moray!
I created a media in the texture, giving the media element of the texture a
specific name. I have selected this name in the atmosphere tab of the scene
settings dialog. I have a light source that I want to have glowing. It is
set to react with media. When the scene renders though, all I get is black
(there are no objects in this scene yet, and I have the background set to
black). If I creat a sphere, apply the media texture, set it to be hollow,
and scale it ip so it holds the light and the camera, then the light does
react - BUT it won't cast shadows in the media, even though I put in a
sphere to block the light!
Can anybody tell me where I can download an example Moray mdl file that uses
atmospheric media, or could anybody post one?
I have posted my mdl file to povray.binaries.scene-files, with the header
"Atmospheric Media and Moray - see moray.win", if anybody wants to
check it out.
Thanks,
Equiprawn

I was forced, when using atmospheric, scattering media, to make the extinction
0. If it is higher, everything gets black. The only drawback is that you have to
REALLY lower the intensity of your lights. Otherwise, it looks like crap.
