I tried to install the new liquid spray plugin. I put the SprayMFC.dll
in my moray plugins directory. However, checking the loaded plugins
screen does not show it loaded (only the plugins that come with the
Moray distribution show up).

It also does not show up on the create|plugins pull down.

What do I do with the spray.inc file?

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong (it's the first time I tried to
install a plugin.

Hmm ! don't know why this should be expect that you may be pointing to
another directory if you have two versions of Moray installed?

You need to put it in the POVRAY include directory with the other srayg.inc
file it would probably be a good idea to download Chris' zip file but
overwrite the spray.inc file with the one supplied by me (Chris' zip also
has the spray.htm file in it)

I think he the plugin released requires MFC shared dll's. I wrote a
shader for trueSpace and had the same problem, people who didn't have
the correct dll's couldn't load it. I don't know what dll's you need
because I just started staticly linking every plugin/shader I make.

Lutz has suggested to me that it may be that I've sent him a copy of the
plugin that is compiled for debug mode and so needs different dll's .....
I'll recompile for release and post it to Lutz - it may help those of you
that can't get it to load.

Hi all,
I am having real problems with the spray plugin, I have dl'd the origion
POVray plugin, and put the inc files in my POVray include dir, dl the spray
plug, put the dll in the Moray Plugins dir, and overwritten the spray.inc
file in the POVray inc dir with the one provided.

no matter what i do it allways page faults, and sometimes times my whole PC
down with it.

I am running win98, directx6, all of the widows updates from ms installed,
MS VC 6 with MSVS SP 1 installed.

MORAYWIN caused an invalid page fault in
module MFC42D.DLL at 0177:02e77216.

Hi Rick,

I run almost the exact same system, except I use MSVC 5, however I've sent
Lutz a new version that is not compiled for debug, this may cure your
problem. However you are the first person that's said it crashes, and
somehow I don't think a release compile will cure your problem (but you
never know :-).

Best Regards,

Keith
