Hmm... Somehow I don't like the idea of spending 64 Megs of my expensive
memory for the OS alone. I could use that memory for more useful things.

After reviewing all the above recent posts, they only serve to bolster
my decision to more over to light side of the force, i.e. Linux. I will
sitll keep my old workhorse 486 running
DOS 6.22 and (sometimes, Win 3.1). Ant to those who may ask, yes I have
worked with Win2000, and, yes, it is the best of the lot, but that
dosn't do anything to ease my dis-ease with Microsoft.

memory isn't that expensive, its halved in price since I last bought some -

Yeah, I have 256MB now, too. I'm just saying that it runs real nice with
