Hi,
I'll try to enter the current contest for stills, and after looking a bit, I
saw that it could also fit for the animation topic... But I believe it would be
against the rules...

Thanks,
  Simon

I don't know, I think there is none and therefore I could do it...

However, I'm not sure and I'd like to verify...

Thanks,
  Simon

You're covered by the last sentence in each of the following
rules paragraphs.

http://irtc.org/stills/rules.html
5.d
All images must be original. You may not use another person's image with or
without their permission. You may not use an image that you created in the
past.
You may of course re-use good ideas and even objects from past images that
you have created.

http://irtc.org/anims/rules.html
5.e
All animations must be original. You may not use another person's individual
image frames or animation sequence(s) with or without their permission. You
may not use an animation that you created in the past. You may of course
re-use good ideas and even objects from past images or animations that you
have created.

Ok, if I won't be using the same material, ie images, but I will reuse the
models, in the picture for the movie too... I guess I'm ok?

Sometimes when I looked at the entries at the IRTC I found some way cool images
and wondered how cool it would be to see that thing in movement... That's
exactly what I intend to do. I believe this is correct and is not meant to be
fraud in any way and therefore should be accepted!?

Thanks,
  Simon

I think so. The purpose of the rules is to prevent people
from just posting old works without actually *working* on
the topic.

There's even less problem if the animation round and still
round you plan to enter are both current ones. Then we can
say for sure your work is original, even if used in parallel
competitions.

Ok, this makes sense!

Thanks a lot!
