Eh...from what I can tell, he pretended to know more than he actually
did about computer graphics in general, making some rather silly
statements about Monte-Carlo methods and POV's radiosity. He then made
some very stupid claims about POV-Ray (stupid claims, not ignorant
ones...like claiming an image rendered in POV 3.0, with text saying so
right on the image, was impossible to render in POV-Ray...and a few
other bizarre assertions that would have been trivial to check), and
when people pointed out his errors, he just repeated them in a different
thread.
He may have been more subtle than most, but his goal seemed to be to
spread misinformation and start flamewars rather than to contribute.
