This is one of the first results of my particle simulator program. (the
one written in C++, not the POV script)
It outputs an include file containing a bunch of macro calls, so it is
possible to change the way the particles are used by simply changing the
macro. At this stage, my program takes a file as input and can have
multiple emitters of different types. I plan on adding things like
gravity sources as well as a simple file editor.(although the files are
text based, they are not easy to read. I may make a simple scripting
language, but that will come later...)
I haven't gotten good looking smoke with a reasonable render speed yet,
but right now I am focusing on the simulator itself. When finished, it
will simulate liquids as well as atmospheric effects.
