Use a lathe or difference of two sors. The surface has no thickness, it
is infinitely thin...this is the case for all POV objects. You just need
to create a surface that completely encloses a volume. With a lathe,
just use a spline continuing along the inner surface. With a difference
of sors, make one sor for the outside surface, and difference it with
another similar but smaller sor for the inside surface. Make sure the
ends go together properly, you don't want to leave an opening between
the two surfaces at the top.
