The QuickTime Player is..."poorly designed". ;-)
But don't confuse it with QuickTime itself, which is a very nice piece
of software. And Microsoft Media Player...well, it's just awful. The Mac
version, at least, is even worse than QuickTime Player...
3ivx looks more interesting anyway...
