  I can't see anything wrong with the lighting personally, but that's an 
area I have problems with as well.  It looks like the soldering iron is 
only touching the table at the tip, but that could be caused by jpeg 
compression (looks like the light is showing under the grip of the 
soldering iron).  Hmm, I would possibly make the edges of the 
individual table planks less rounded...  or maybe make the table top one 
solid piece of wood.  The deep joins would be nasty when working with small 
screws, gears, and robotic spider legs.  <smile>
  I really like the scene though, can't wait to see further takes on it!
