I'm already using a combination of Spherical and turbulenced Granite (I
think), but the real problem is I was wondering if there was a method to
tell POV that Emitting media shouldn't affect the colour of an object
within the media.

I suspect not, but then again, you get used to thinking up workarounds
when you play with POV :)

On another side note, would it be possible to implement a variation of
the orient keyword in MegaPOV's arealight syntax to automatically orient
a specific axis of an object to a camera position?

Bye for now,
     Jamie.
