Did you use an inbuilt Penrose 'tiling' pattern or something similar of 
your own design?

Related. Did you have do anything extra (like AA or size oversampling) 
to eliminate aliasing artifacts at distance on the plane?

My guess is no, and that Penrose tiling patterns are less, obviously, 
sensitive to image/display aliasing artifacts, but?
