Oh! dear. ;-)

I would say that St. Kiaran's is not in the form of a cross because it 
is Church of Scotland. They do not hold with graven images or false 
idols and that includes crosses. The exception is the cross of St. 
Andrew (surprisingly enough). But then he was only a disciple.
