On a more serious note...

Is it 8.0 or 8.1?  8.1 is /supposed/ to be better (I haven't looked at 
8.1 myself yet).  Also, ISTR that Microsoft may have allowed Win8 
customers to install Win7 instead if they wanted, though I might be 
remembering that incorrectly.
