I may be wrong, but it seems that /nowhere/ in the documentation it is
stated that with method 3 intervals 1 (the defaults) samples /only/
reads /one/ parameter value. In the documentation, samples is described
as samples Min,Max, with Max being optional under method 1.
I have looked in detail in 1.3.7 and 2.4.8.3 but to no avail.
