Cousin Ricky is in a rich country, that's our equivalent of the
polyethylene wrapping that is now done over-here (to keep the water
inside the vegetable, so we can buy a 3 week old cucumber at the price
of a fresh one).

Or it's a Xmas Cucumber ?

I'm afraid a realistic polyethylene wrapping need a SSLT experiment, or
something similar.
