You've never actually used Cygwin before, have you? Because if you had,
you wouldn't have to ask that question.

Rip DVDs, free videos from the 'net - plenty of sources.

Presuming you created lower-quality recompressed versions (which isn't
necessarily the only way to rip DVDs).
