The colossus of Rhodos was predominantly in my mind of course. In Greek
temples, statues were often oversized, sometimes almost touching the
ceiling. Must have been an awesome sight, as was intended I suppose. So,
this statue which is about 8 times human scale should be an eye-catcher
when sailing into the harbour.
