Just a collection of really simple movements:
1: Glows migrate up the object once every two seconds
2: the camera rotates around the object exactly once every ten seconds
at constant speed/angular velocity,
3: the arms all wave at the same speed with the phase of each arms
offset by use of MegaPOV's frame_number and the mod() function, the
apparent ripple moves up the "object" once every five seconds.
and the most important part of why this looks like it does:
4: Serendipity- it's pure luck that the above movements co-operated to
produce an animation that looks like it's swimming in circles.
(Every now and then, the computers like to give me a present to make
up for the hell they cause the rest of my life :-)
