Thanks ... I'm working on the lighting now (radiosity) and it helps a 
lot. I also was able to find the cause of an odd shadow just above the 
flame (projected_through was the culprit) ... I'm also fiddling with the 
area_light size looking for the correct effect. I also moved the 
vertical backdrop closer to the object ... LOL like I said some minor 
tweaks. I just felt like posting what I had so far, because I liked the 
overall look and feel ;-)
