That's a bummer, though not uncommon. The subconscious has a way of 
placing all the most horrible things up on the queue for first-viewing, 
which is very inconsiderate if you ask me.

Yes, and most people are creative without even knowing it :) But not 
everyone wants or tries to take it further. But you already have a head 
start, plus a drive to push your creativity further.

I know how you feel. For me, if often boils down to my current level of 
patience. If I'm not succeeding, I can either 1) become impatient with 
myself and quit, or 2) continue on and learn from my failures. Just last 
night, I chose the former, which was a mistake because I had some good 
ideas just waiting to surface. Oh well :/
