Yes, as far as realism goes, you're certainly right, as I deliberately 
"tuned" the moon to get a stronger contrast with the lanterns' colors.

(Then again, in reality the observer's eyes would probably adapt a good 
deal to the lanterns' colors, causing the impression of a rather blueish 
moon.)

Another thing that's deliberately unrealistic is the moon's size - it's 
about 5 times larger than it would be in reality.
