This is exactly the case. Every session uses memory space on the
server. Timeouts are the only effective way of getting rid of that
space. The problem is made even worse with the IRTC site because if you
aren't logged in, every page on the web site creates a new session.
This is the only way to get the bookmarkable URL's. These sessions will
only disappear on timeouts.
