Did you see that MS is paying for a full ride for a PHD
at Strathclyde in Glasgow researching Haskell numeric
indexing? Pay is the key word there. They intend the 
code to end up in GHC, perhaps as optimizations for
parallel threads. You should apply for this Andrew,
it has to be better than where you are working. If you
make them happy I bet you could end up working for MS.
