In response to advanced users thread, render showing method to lay 
multiple hf's along a spline and create pattern

pattern is the image_map shown in foreground
behind the image_map shows it translated as a sequence of 50 hf's
finally the hf's arranged along a spline

Illustrates how this can be achieved but the limitations of doing so 
that were alluded to by ChrisB.
