We have a gentoo bug regarding display windows appearing transparent,
and I've seen lots of references to this on the net as well. Is this a
known issue that will likely be fixed?
Here's our gentoo bug:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155289
Also, I'm still getting hangs when the display window comes up (as
mentioned elsewhere here too). I get the following:
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x64)!
I have to kill -9 the process.
and sometimes also (after above message):
X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
Atom id in failed request: 0x1e00008
Serial number of failed request: 103
Current serial number in output stream: 106
I got these, I believe, in beta 25 as well. It is intermittent. If
this is also a known issue, let me know.
Thanks! Joe
p.s. please reply to my [obfuscated] email here as well...
