A dock and fishing shack would be nice, and reeds at several spots. How 
about some grass (this really tall one) on the dunes? And if you model 
some seashells, they'd make a nice addition for the foreground.

Depending on how you made the heightfield, it might be interesting to 
add some footprints, but then you'd have to use different heightfields 
for fore- and background.

And the colors of sky vs clouds looks kinda strange me. If the horizon 
is that yellow, shouldn't the clouds be, too? Or turn the horizon more 
red/orange for a sunset/-rise color... A suggestion: it's always a great 
idea to look at photos for colors on clouds in the sky to pick the 
correct color-combination sky/horizon/clouds.
