  Heh, thanks Sam. I think I struck lucky with the diamonds. ;) Not so sure 
about them in the next image though.

    Hmm, I didn't have brilliance in the statement with those first two 
images, but I've tried it in the next image. Here's what I've used:

    T_Gold_2A
     finish{
      diffuse 0.3
      ambient 0.0
      specular 0.6
      brilliance .5
      phong .5
      reflection .5
      conserve_energy}}

   I'm not sure if it has made a difference or not, but what else could I 
change or add?

    Well, I hope I can make them! :) These might be going in a catalogue 
soon. (I'd made the mistake of showing the bossman one of my printed 
renders, and he thinks it's a photograph, so he wants me to design something 
for the catalogue). I designed the earrings about two years ago, and the 
cross and brooch are new designs. The idea is to have sprinklings of 
diamonds on the new designs. Yes, I can make them.  :o)
