Looks to me like a bit of an exercise in a lot of things.  That flame 
alone is masterful. Demonstrates why people sit and stare at flames. THe 
simple beauty of the color and form, of the mechanism itself.  The 
construction and texturing of each element in the scene bears well the 
detailed scrutiny it invites.  The anti-aliasing alone and clean 
moudlation of the shadows is remarkable.  Beautiful concept, beautiful 
execution.  Bravo.
