Hopefully, the picture is telling a story. :-)  But I'm not sure that's what 
you meant.  (Did you?)

I've been fascinated with Bonsai since I was about 16 years old.  More 
recently, I'd been playing around with TomTree (POV-Tree) and thought it 
would be interesting to try to make a bonsai with TomTree.  To make the 
scene more interesting, I wanted to include the idea of a miniature world 
within a world.  As soon as I had that thought, I realized that I really 
wanted to do a series of pictures.  But at this point, you're not seeing the 
whole story.

I expect the series to be somewhat similar to what Gilles did with his 
"Variations" series (http://www.oyonale.com/variations/index.php?lan=en), in 
the sense of re-using the same surroundings.  But there's more to it than 
that (I hope), and I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet.  I 
want the story to build over time.
