Well, real raindrops aren't round. Air resistance prevents that. They're
kind of bowl-shaped, actually. But having them streaky (like you
originally had) makes them look OK. It's not like your eyes can actually
see falling rain drop-by-drop anyway.

I think that gives it a much better sense of scale. Before, I couldn't
even tell what the floating thing was supposed to be.
