Thanks. I came across this capability a few years ago when I was meddling
with tileable patterns. I occasionally dig out the code when I see a need.
I find that they are much more convincing than surface normals (for some
reason they always seem flat to me) and far faster than isosurfaces.
However they are somewhat limited to flat surfaces.
