Sample images for the latest version of the Linux framebuffer patch,
see p.unofficial.patches (same subject) for details. The images were created
on a 640x480 framebuffer console at 8 bpp color depth. Any other resolution
and color depth work as well.

The images feature the new addition of the support for the console
mouse via the gpm server. The first image depicts what typically happened
in earlier releases of this patch: moving the mouse over the display would
trash it (note that this image was obtained in a situation where the connec-
tion to the mouse server failed; see the p.u.p thread for a discussion on
this problem). The second image shows the "pseudo-text" mouse pointer over
the display near its bottom-right corner: the display is now preserved as
expected.

Additionnally, the images show that this patch is now able to
properly deal with custom console colors, which in these examples were
set as:

echo -n -e "\033]P0000088" # change the black background to blue
setterm -inversescreen # inverse the screen colors

See 'man setterm' and 'man console_codes' for further details.

The POV-Ray text is colored thanks to the unix frontend patch, which can
be found elsewhere (see http://news.povray.org/431c914d@news.povray.org).
