amazing work,...
even though on the second look the coils seems to penetrate each other 
which would end up in an gordian knot :-)
I don't have a clue how to avoid this in a simple fashion.
Maybe you can get the extents of the allready existing coils and use 
them as "forbidden volumes" while generating each coil after another.
