Yup, great thinking Thomas, but there's a technical side to it as well.
The landscape is just a photo, which is placed roughly 16 meters away from
the room. It just fits the camera's viewing frustrum. But since it just sits
on a rectangular mesh (made of two triangles), reflections would look
awkward. So it isn't reflected at all, anywhere, using no_reflection. The
viewpoint does allow this, because, like you said, the room is above the
ground, so it would only reflect things above the floor-level, which, in
effect, would only be clouds.
