Okay, I see now that using assumed_gamma 2.2 in version 3.6 did make
micro.pov look the same for both versions.

However, something is still wrong. I was trying my own scene file in 3.7
beta when I needed to go back to v3.6, for animation because the beta 5a
still isn't able to animate.

Making the assumed_gamma change, as you suggested, did not correct the media
appearance. I'm seeing an oversaturation of the media. Since I was making
this media-filled object in 3.7 it only looks correct there. Only conclusion
I can make is that something isn't handling the media in the same way
between the two versions.

The clue might be that the density is greater than 1, and now, after
checking with it set to only rgb <1,1,1> I see it seems to fix the look of
it.

Could density be getting clipped in some way in 3.7 beta 5a?
