As Alain indicated rubber isn't really all that traditional for moon
buggies.
And black is not really a good colour for stuff in space due to the
temperature cycling from shadow to direct sunlight.
I suspect that big black rubber tyres on a moon buggy would last about as
long as chocolate ones. :-).
