Pascal,
May I suggest a little more research on the structure?
From your notes I take this to be a model of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in
Instanbul.
This is well covered in Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sultan_Ahmed_Mosque
with links to e.g.
http://www.islamicarchitecture.org/architecture/mosqueofsultanahmed.html
which gives a bunch of reference pictures including several of the
interior - not quite so blue!
http://www.islamicarchitecture.org/architecture/i/mosques/sultanahmed/i101.jpg
in particular gives an impression of the scale of the prayer mats, the
lighting and some human reference of scale.
