Very nice but I'm not too crazy about the weird coloring in the label. As
far as the execution of the concept goes, some variations I can think of:
* Making the checkered floor the actual floor of the museum and placing the
(bigger) sphere without pedestal on it.
* Adding the Utah teapot (ok, strictly speaking not a raytracing staple but
neither is the Cornell box). OK, the Stanford bunny will then feel left out.
Add some fur on it and include it too (see
http://www.gvu.gatech.edu/people/faculty/greg.turk/bunny/bunny.html , 2nd to
last image) <g>
* Making the Cornell box bigger, maybe turn into a small room
* Putting the Wet Bird in a window of the museum (without any label) instead
of a frame to suggest some surrealism. Maybe adding some blinds (but no
shadow cast from them on the "view").
