Maybe its me, but... his tone seemed a bit less...hostile than the tone 
Paris has used.

Thats a kinda cool patch. Much like Moray's preview I would imagine

After reading the responses to the OGL Post above, I'd have to say... 
yes, you're right on that count.

Hmm. so he does actually like POVRay.. thats actually suprising, but he 
appears to be a bit of a blowhard, even his tone on his webpage seems a 
bit agressive.. more of a "Look at me, I can do better than the original 
artist" Not taking into account that the chessboard image was actually 
created long ago and has not been since updated.

Hmm, so I have been told multiple times. I thought he was banned from 
the servers much like IMBJR was.
