POV doesn't support HDRI (yet), but you can convert a lightprobe to 
another format, wrap it on a sphere surrounding the scene for a 
reflection map.   You can also play around with exporting an HDRI probe 
at different EV settings with HDRShop and layering them with different 
ambient values and turn on radiosity to play around with 'faking' an 
HDRI scene.  (I tried once but got sidetracked...)
