In my case, that would actually work, as I'm making a convex dome.  So I
could shrink the dome slightly, and then subtract.

I was trying to post pictures in the other thread (Dome Plugin) but it
wasn't posting, I was a hair over 1Meg.  Anyway, I fixed that, so hopefully
it's more clear now.
