As long as you realize that there is so little dust in space that you
won't see any laser beam ;) . In movies they are visible, but that is
because they don't care about physics.
BTW I assume you are using 3.6 bacause you have the non-antialiased
line artifact that was earlier mentioned here. Probably for the same
reason.
