Hmm... The problem here is that the pattern 'desintegrates' towards the
boundary of each arc. In reality, the last stone of a given arc is the first
stone of the adjacent one, like uou can see in the photograph refered to by
Gilles Tran.
In itself, this seems easy to model (I tested something in Moray today), but
I came up against a fundamental difficulty that concerns the different
curvatures of the inside and outside of each arc of stones. At the ends, the
stones overlap! (>> see the attached image) and adjacent arcs are not well
integrated.
