     Heh...  Ok, as much as I like Wings for modeling, it's not good
at showing textures with any striation or grain effect in it - a wood
grain, a stone texture, etc.

   The texture and finish for both of these simple tiles is:

        texture{
         T_Stone19
        finish { reflection .03}}

    And that's it. There's no scaling, rotation, nothing else to make
this happen. The reason that the tiles in my original image have a
pattern to it is because I left the 'edge' lines on the tile, (see
second image).

   I had the same trouble when I modeled my lock-knife with Wings. If
you didn't see that thread, here it is:
