Without looking at the original...

The lighting looks odd. The light looks a bit like sunlight, but it's 
too weak and pale. Combined with the reflections and the guesses my 
brain is subconsciously making about the environment based on lighting 
and color cues, I get the distinct impression that this is an indoor 
scene, and that the light is coming from some kind of skylight or other 
"clear roof" sort of structure. What's more, I'd guess that the sky is 
pretty cloudy.

Of course, if it is an indoor scene, why do the bottoms of the pillars 
have stains on them?

Nice looking render, though, in any case. Makes me wish I could make 
something that simple look that good.
