Very nice tool. And I was thinking negative emission would be the same
as absorption... tsssss ;-)
The order is quite nice too, with the "symmetries" well chosen. I'll
suggest another order which might be easier to read (or might not):
starting from 12 o'clock and going clockwise, I'd go
0, 0, 0
0, 0,.5
0,.5, 0
.5, 0, 0
.5,.5, 0
.5, 0,.5
0,.5,.5
.5,.5,.5
...
(if I understood correctly, symmetries will take care of the rest.)
To improve readability, you might carve small S, E, A letters in the
spheres or use letters directly. Other ideas, which are rather personal
taste, include using white/gray/black instead of green/gray/red and
keeping the spheres horizontal everywhere, always in the same order (SEA).
I do not fully understand the setting. Is the the wheel of constant
depth and are the media of uniform densities? How is the light located?
Is the wheel in front of (over) the spheres? Where do the glows come? Is
there media outside the wheel?
Povingly,
Philippe
