That's a very fine suggestion, haven't really thought about that.

It does actually represent something like a different viewpoint. Not so
much what you've thought of, but in my mind its like a person is
able to see a broader scale of things, have a more omnipotent view
on a world. With the actual "real world" being visible through the
window, and the "fake world" too small to really observe people, but
rather just the landscape (buildings are just too small), I wanted to show
that even on a broader scale we might not grasp everything, that we'd
lose detail.
That's probably the reason why I want such a detailed room, and keep
the worldbowl rather simple, though I do have to change something
about it. It should suggest something larger than is actually in the
bowl, but leaving lots of room for imagination...

Hm. I'll see where these thoughts lead me...
