Looks good so far. I would suggest decreasing the camera angle to focus the
attention on a person's "field of attention" rather than his field of view.
Alternately, you could make this an evening shot with dim sunlight and a
strong light coming from the bar. Or, you could cover more of the background
with the bases of large buildings to decrease the impact of each large
building.
I would move the skyscrapers further away and construct some abandoned
factories, warehouses around the bar to give the feeling of abandonment and
isolation from the civilized world. Perhaps a freeway overpass between the
seedy and prosperous areas visible in the scene.
Also, give the bar a tiny parking lot, not the large one it has now. Build a
street in the foreground, and place the bar very close to it in order to
give a more cramped feel like in a true sh!thole.
