First of all - thanks every body for your kind comments. I just uploaded the
(partial) source code to p.b.s.-f. Hope you will find it useful. Trying to
give an answer to a few of the questions:
- You can find Forester and Forester Arboretrum here
http://www.dartnall.f9.co.uk/. Trees made with
Forester Arboretrum consist of min. 2 mesh objects, one for the leaves
and some for stem and branches,
depending of the level of detail (iteration level). The meshes are
uv-mapped, so you can use scans of real
leaves as textures if you like.
- The code for the isosurface rock is derived from awStoneBlockMacs2.inc by
the autowitch (aka d. gold),
which was posted to p.b.s.-f. back in 2000. Its basically an isosurface
superellipsoid with a pigment
function added (wrinkles in my case).
- The rock is about 5 tree heights high indeed. The way the scene is set up
now there are no trees
very close to the rock. I will try this.
- As for the poser woman, I wanted to add a figure on the top of the rock
and I had this one from an
old scene. Just lazy ... I like the idea with the wolf however.
Regards,Christoph
